
GOALS
The Funding goals of the Lebanese Scout Association are divided into two strategic goals:
SHORT TERM

Short Term


The objectives of Short Term fundraising is to provide LSA with the required funds to pay for the day-to-day expenses of running a volunteer based scouting group. These expenses include but are not limited to:
- Insurance for all accidents that may happen to scout members during their activities
- Office Utilities (such as electricity, phones, internet charges, water, and other miscellaneous expenses etc...
- Employees Salaries (part or full time professional administrators / coordinators
- Consumables (such as paper, stationary, photocopier, etc..
- Maintenance of office furniture & equipment, premises, etc..
- Activities organized and undertaken by the executive Committee
LONG TERM
The objectives of Long Term fundraising is to provide LSA with the financial security in the future by establishing a locked Doner Fund the proceeds of which will be used to ensure the continuity of the scouting group. The long term fund will be established with the following guidelines:
- Target Amount is initially set at US$ 1,000,000
- Management shall be under the auspices of the General assembly with restrictions on the use of the fund as detailed in LSA Bylaws.
- Administration will be regulated as per the Association's bylaws - - Sources beyond direct donations, a percentage of the net proceeds of any LSA activity that generates a profit will be deposited in the Trust Fund Account
